Meeting Minutes

I. Old Business

Goal Setting Update from last chapter meeting

Sylvia and Jessica gave updates from the last meeting. They reported that the goals and important issues from the survey were not consistent across the group and that we will further examine this when we complete the exercise with the facilitator, Claudia Huff, at the next chapter meeting.

By-Law changes

There were three areas in which changes to the by-laws were proposed. Each was voted on and they were passed unanimously.

i. Article 3, Section 4: Dues was amended to clarify the payment for local dues ii. Article 3, Section 5: Meeting of Membership was amended to state that “Membership may vote via written* proxy, as needed, at monthly meetings. (* added in after discussion at the meeting) iii. Article 4, Section 2: Qualification, Election, and Term of Office was essentially re-written to clarify the process of nomination leading up to elections at our Annual Meetings. II. Elections

Nominations that were made prior to the meeting were voted on. All officers were elected by unanimous decision. Prior to the votes, each candidate spoke briefly and made recognition to the officer that they were replacing.
